Sip & Smoke

Black Girl in CLE founder, Shana Black came up with an awesomely unique idea to bring women of Cleveland together to learn about cigars and smoke shops. We were  definitely in the building last night talking and laughing like we were all good friends  and the wine tasting probably had everything to do with it. We got a little too lit. I know at least one girl did.

Shaker Cigar Shop's has a Wall Street old boys club kind of feels with the dim lighting leather arms chairs round tables and shutter-likes blinds. Behind two French glass doors is the walk-in humidor which is probably constructed entirely out of Cedar and  that's were the cigars are kept. In the humidor is where we were taught Cigar 101 & Shop Etiquette.

Cleveland Urban Winery brought in three different wines: Blackberry Merlot, some type of Rose` and my favorite of the three, Peach Chardonnay. The host Destiny told us about their wine club and wine boutique. She was really nice. You can bring food in and sit down and drink wine and eat.

Shana was very nice she was at the door with a big smile, looked my name up on the guest list that was in her phone and ushered me into the lounge where the other ladies were sitting. Soon after I took off my coat and sat down I was chatting away because everyone was just that chill.
